Why do “Special Order” items take 2-3 weeks to receive?2023-06-26T17:34:20+00:00

An item is special order because we don’t keep it in stock at all times. We strive to have the utmost freshness; consequently, we prefer not to store beef for extended periods of time. So, after your order is placed, we then communicate our need for that specific item on the ranch. Then, when we receive your order, we pack it and deliver it to you. This process generally takes 2-3 weeks.

Do you offer subscriptions?2023-06-27T11:49:09+00:00

We do! We have several boxes where you can select the cuts you get monthly, or for more savings select one of our bundles where we choose the cuts for you! These subscriptions are delivered, shipped, or picked up once a month.

Are your cattle grass fed?2023-06-27T12:45:26+00:00

There are many conversations surrounding grass fed and grain fed beef. Grass fed/grass finished beef comes from cattle that spend their entire lives consuming grass in pastures. Our beef is grass fed/grain fed beef, which means our cattle, like grass fed cattle, spend the majority of their lives consuming grass but are free to consume a balanced diet of grains as well during the last 120-175 days. While both are ideal options for raising quality cattle, our combination diet of grass and locally sourced grains ensures satisfaction among cattle and increased marbling and flavor across products.

Our cattle are NOT given any steroids, antibiotics, hormones, mRNA vaccinations or anything harmful to the cattle or you, the consumer. It’s all natural, just the way it should be!

Our cattle are harvested no earlier than 18 months old and up to 22 months old

If you would like 100% grass fed/grass finished we do have a limited selection on our website available, as well as 1/4, 1/2 and whole options. Just go to the search bar and type in “grass finished” and look for any products with the green ribbon.

Whether you choose grass finished, or grain finished we appreciate you choosing BEEF!

What breed are your cattle?2023-03-05T23:31:40+00:00

Our cows are commercial cattle, bred to withstand the Florida heat, humanity, and bugs. This being said, all cattle have an Angus influence.

Is a slight smell after opening the package normal?2023-04-08T02:17:43+00:00

100%! Meat is sealed in a pouch with oxygen removed to prolong shelf life and keep it safe from contaminants. This being said, discoloration of the meat and/or a Sulphur-like smell when opening the package can occur. This is normal and is not an indicator of freshness! To overcome these effects, simply take the meat out of the bag and let it rest at room temperature for 10-30 minutes.

How does your meat arrive?2023-06-27T12:49:07+00:00

Our beef and pork is packaged in premium cryovac packaging, You will get a long storage time, with no freezer burn. If you are wondering exactly how long you can store, that’s personal preference. According to the USDA “freezing vacuum packaged meat keeps food safe almost indefinitely,” we think you will be very satisfied with our premium packaging!
