Meet the Crew

Grant. He’s the “H” in HM—and the guy who keeps it all rolling. He stays busy bouncing between the ranch and the meat room. If he’s not rotating cattle, feeding, or fixing a fence somewhere, you can bet he’s in the meat room as butcher.

Basically, if it moos or ends up in your freezer, Grant had something to do with it.

And if he’s not working? He’s probably being a full-time chauffeur for the boys’ football and baseball schedules… or sneaking off to wet a line!

If you have ever wondered where the “M” in HM Cattle Co. comes from… meet Rebecca. She is also a primary founder, owner, and operator of this cow/calf beef operation. Marketing, online ordering, sales, teaching the kiddos, and chauffeuring are some of her MANY daily duties! She likes to be out on the ranch as much as she can, but the office is where you can usually find her.

If she manages to sneak away in the mornings or evenings, you are sure to find her soaking up golden hour while riding around on the mule. She refers to herself as the #chaoscoordinator and we would have to agree!

This 7th generation rancher is ready to take over the whole HM Cattle Company at the whopping age of 11! Born to be a little boss and with serious as his middle name, Mayland is an all around GREAT HAND on the ranch and a good beef salesman! If you ask him he says he has been helping with the retail side of this business for over 700 years. On some days it feels like 700 years that we have been at this, but 99% of the time we are grateful to be on this journey together as a family owned and operated business! He likes to wake up early and stay up late.

You can normally find him somewhere between the baseball or football field, on the boat, riding the pastures or hunting. His catahoula leopard Suzie is his best girl, and his little brother is his best friend! Make sure you follow our instagram for interesting stories on the everyday life of this #cowkid.

With a smile this sweet, it’s easy to see why Myles is one of our BEST beef salesmen! Aside from his super puncher duties around the ranch, which include tending to his horses, chickens, dogs, and cattle you can find him playing baseball or football, hunting or fishing. If you ask him his favorite sport is football and his favorite position is tight-end. We think he is a rockstar at most everything he takes on!

If you give him a chance, he is sure to tell you a riddle and make a bet…. and he is normally the one to walk away with the money! He is quite the entrepreneur…… if you are looking for farm fresh eggs or freshly hatched chicks he is your man!

As a 7th generation rancher, he is a hard worker and knows how to get the job done!

Bede keeps the mood light and the tasks done! He is beyond dedicated to “a job done right.” He is as dependable as they come and the best hand HM could ask for.

He’s been with us since the start of our direct consumer sales, and we aren’t sure we could do it without him! Whether he’s horseback, building fence, out on the beef truck, or playing football with the kids he is always there when we need him!

Natalie keeps everyone on track. She has been a blessing to us part time for several years and we are so thankful to finally have her on our team full time! She is the head of our shipping department and handles 100% of the preorders. She handles inventory, marketing and much more!

If you ever place an order and it shows up on time and in perfect shape, Natalie is the one to thank! She is at the ranch office before the sun comes up, and doesn’t leave until the last order is packed. We couldn’t do it without her- we are lucky she is part of our ‘herd!’

Margie has been one of our biggest cheerleaders for years, and we were pretty excited when she joined us full-time when the store opened!

She’s the one making the magic happen behind the counter and customers smiling. Around here, she’s known as the master of marinades and stuffing, and trust us… she takes that title seriously.

If you’ve ever stopped by the store, chances are you’ve been greeted by her smiling face—and probably left with something she convinced you to try (no regrets there).

Lizzy is a key part of the HM Cattle Meats & More team, playing an essential role behind the scenes and in the day-to-day flow of the shop. She helps manage ordering, keeps everything organized, and brings creativity to the kitchen by helping develop and perfect our recipes. From making sure products are stocked to helping prepare the meals our customers love, Lizzy keeps things running smoothly and efficiently. Her attention to detail and dedication make her an invaluable part of our team.

Allison is a hardworking part of the HM Cattle Meats & More team, balancing school while still showing up ready to help wherever she’s needed. She works a couple days a week after school and is always willing to jump in on weekends when extra hands are needed. Whether she’s assisting behind the meat counter, helping customers, or supporting the team, Allison brings a positive attitude and a strong work ethic to everything she does. Her willingness to step in wherever needed makes her a great asset to the team.

Pierson started out as a regular, stopping in for his weekly milkshake fix—but it didn’t take long before he became part of the team. What began as a simple visit has turned into a path toward a full-time role in the shop. Pierson is quickly developing into an excellent butcher, learning the craft and sharpening his skills every day. He’s become a huge help behind the counter, providing dependable support and making a strong impact alongside the rest of the crew.

Leslie started as a loyal customer and quickly became a vital part of the HM Cattle Meats & More team. Known as the queen of restocking, she keeps the shop looking full, organized, and ready for customers at all times. She also plays a big role in our social media, helping bring fresh energy and a whole new vibe to the butcher shop. Leslie’s eye for detail and creativity makes her an essential part of what keeps everything running smoothly and looking great.
