Recipe for "Marrow Bones Broth" using marrow bones from HM Cattle Company:

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 lbs beef marrow bones from HM Cattle Company
  • 2 onions, roughly chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, roughly chopped
  • 2 carrots, roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of black peppercorns
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 bunch of fresh parsley
  • Water

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the marrow bones on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes until the marrow is soft and cooked through.
  3. While the bones are roasting, prepare your vegetables by washing and roughly chopping them.
  4. Place the roasted marrow bones and any remaining juices into a large pot with the chopped vegetables, apple cider vinegar, black peppercorns, bay leaves, and parsley.
